Krethon, one of two great Danaans, was one of the twin sons of Diokles. As a very young man he went with his brother Orsilocus {see planet  (5284)} in the service of Agamemnon and Menelaus {see planets  (911) and  (1647), respectively}. Fighting with the Argives at Troy, he was killed by Aeneas {see planet  (1172)}. (M 25444) _ _.
