Zenonas Rokus Rudzikas (b. 1940), president of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences, is a well-known theoretical physicist, the author of some 250 scientific publications, including five monographs. Known for his talent as an organizer, he organized the Institute of Theoretical Physics and Astronomy and served as its head.
