Once I read, in a seemingly know-all book that i cannot recall the name of, how Pisces people had feet that were either “exquisitely beautiful” or absolutely revolting. Nothing moderate or in between when it comes to Pisces Feet and Beauty. Foot heaven or foot hell. So I have Sun in Pisces and ever since then I have been vaguely paranoid about my feet.
Pisces does correspond with the feet – the medieval correspondences start with Aries at the forehead and go right down to Pisces at the feet. Yes, incidentally, Scorpio is “the genitals.” Ancient medical astrologers would deal with a problem in a particular part of the body by first identifying the associated sign/planet and then the appropriate herb. Nicholas Culpeper was probably the most renowned of these healers.
But to be stuck with either the supermodel of feet OR something so repulsive that they frighten children and animals? That seems unfair. And over-the-top tabloid sensibility such as the Daily Mail’s recent Bunion Watch Alert do nothing to help Pisces Foot Paranoia.
First you think regular pedicures will do it – groomed, chic and the scurf scrubbed off by someone at close range, right? But no. There are podiatrists buying Tesla motor cars and beach resort bars off the proceeds from walk-in mani-pedi bars. They call them ‘nail brothels’ and cite squeamishly vile tales of fake sterilizers (the real ones are super-costly), filthy instruments, slave waged staff, golden staph, warts and worse. That’s before one explores the toxicity of nail polish or safety of shellac.
The same stupid book that informed me Pisces people (it included Moon in Pisces plus Pisces Rising btw) had hideous or in some cases stunning feet also said Pisces was prone to “fallen arches.” The life of a Pisces without supermodel feet is apparently this long-running nightmare of shuffling around with flat feet, bulging eyes and a penchant for aquamarine nylon kaftans.
OR – and I have done this – they exist in denial, spend strange nights furiously exfoliating their feet and getting all hypochondriac about reflexology charts – in between bouts of foot binding themselves into the most highest ‘fuq off my feet are fine‘ heels they can acquire. And if all that is not enough, Pisces people are routinely slung with the “foot fetishist” label.
If the medieval astrologers were correct, extreme self-care for and of the feet, would nourish the Pisces aspect of our birth chart – which is kind of cool. But are Pisces types more prone to foot paranoia? Foot everything?
Thoughts and Tips please!
