Sun/Jupiter Aries
The Sun is in your star sign Aries up until the 20th and this is your birthday month. There’s much to celebrate and it starts with you. Sometimes the simple questions are best during your time of year, e.g. ‘what do I want and need?’ or ‘how can I bring more joy into my life?’

Solar Eclipse Aries
Last month, there was a New Moon at 0° Aries on March 21st. Usually, the New Moons fall in subsequent star signs but this year, you have two New Moons in Aries. This spells good news as a New Moon is a symbol of new beginnings.
The second New Moon falls at 29° Aries on the 20th of this month but it’s not just a New Moon, it’s a Solar Eclipse. This is the start of a new eclipse cycle focusing on your star sign Aries and your opposite star sign Libra. This eclipse cycle continues until March 2025 and there will be three powerful Solar Eclipses in Aries one year after another.
Eclipses in Aries highlight your image and profile, your personal goals, who are you and who you’re becoming. This eclipse could be extraordinary for you and a Solar Eclipse often accelerates your growth. Sometimes, Solar Eclipses feel like a turbo-powered New Moon, when you’re raring to go and ready to take a bold step in life.
There are a couple of provisos, however, because on the day of the eclipse, the Sun enters earth sign Taurus and your money sector. Immediately, the Sun clashes with Pluto in Aquarius and your friendship and group sector. Therefore, she Solar Eclipse may signify a beginning and an ending. Either way, it feels transformative.
Taurus Season
This month, there’s a lot of planetary activity in Taurus and your personal money sector. Talk planet Mercury is in Taurus from the 3rd and the planet of love and money Venus is here until the 11th, the planet which rules love and money. Plus, the Sun enters Taurus on the 20th.
There may be good news regarding money in the first few weeks of April, whether extra money comes in, you treat yourself and the ones you love or you receive a gift.
There may be a sense of enjoyment around what you have and it’s a positive time to be proactive to ensure you’re on the right track financially.
Mercury Retrograde
However, deal with any financial matters before the 21st. This is because communication planet Mercury turns retrograde in Taurus and your personal money sector on this date.
Mercury will remain on go slow in Taurus until May 15th. Traditionally, this is not the time to make a major purchase and you’re wise to get your financial ducks in a row before the last week of the month.
It’s unusual timing for Mercury to turn retrograde the day after the Solar Eclipse in Aries. Consider how these two events may be linked. For example, there might be something you want to commit to, a personal goal or aim, but you need to find the funds to make it happen.
Or, perhaps you’re raring to go and it’s a lack of money that’s the issue. Don’t rush into anything new after the 20th. Ideally, wait until mid-May when your financial situation could change significantly and hopefully in a good way.
Home & Security
Throughout the month of April, your ruling planet Mars is in the water sign Cancer. Cancer is the star sign at the base of your horoscope ruling your home and family, your past and where you come from.

People Power
The air signs are Gemini, Libra & Aquarius. For you, they highlight the social sectors of your horoscope and this is about the importance of other people in your life. All three star signs are strong throughout April.
