Named for the Bradshaw mountains, which lie to the south of Prescott, Arizona. This area of sparsely populated pine-covered mountains provides a dark southern sky for the Prescott Observatory. The mountains themselves were named for William D. Bradshaw, a Western adventurer and miner. (M 31613) _ _.
