After carrying out a statistical study of orbits of minor planets at Tokyo Imperial University in 1929 under the guidance of Hirayama {see planet  (1999)}, he was a professor of physics, mathematics and statistics at many high schools and colleges. (M 18308)

Name proposed by H. Oishi, who found the identifications involving this minor planet.
