Named for the Japanese military commander in the late Heian era, Taira-no Tsunemori (1125–1185), a son of Tadamori {see planet (4374)}. As the elder of the Heike after the dead of Kiyomori {see planet (4375)}, he made an effort to restore his family. However, he was beaten at the battle of Dannoura, and he drowned in the sea.
