George Clooney (b. 1961) is an American actor of international fame, winner of two Academy Awards and four Golden Globes. Among the films in which he starred are two set in space: “Solaris” (2002) and “Gravity” (2013). Clooney has been a Messenger of Peace of the United Nations since 2008.
