Giuseppe Piccioni (b. 1965), known for work on infrared imaging sensors, has consulted for several Institutions, such as IKI in Moscow, DLR in Berlin, SRC in Warsaw, CSIC in Granada and DESPA in Paris. Since 2001 he has been a staff researcher at the Istituto di Astrofisica Spaziale e Fisica Cosmica in Rome.
