Béla Lugosi (1883-1956) was a Hungarian actor best known for his portrayal of Count Dracula in the Broadway stage production (1927) and subsequent film (1931) of Bram Stoker's classic vampire story. Later in his career he played in numerous Grand Guignol films. His last film was released posthumously in 1959.
