In his portrayal of Wladyslaw Szpilman, Adrien Brody (b. 1973) showed his talent in Roman Polanski's magnificent movie The Pianist (2002), about survival in the Warsaw ghetto. Brody's attitude toward recent events proves that “La musique a douci les moeurs”.
