Mykola Petrovych Pokropyvny (b. 1966) is the director of the Ivan Ogienko Zhytomyr College of Culture and Arts. He is the founder of the Annual International Festival of Brass Music “Solar Clarinets” for talented young musicians held in Zhytomyr every year.
