Ján Popluhár (1935-2011) was a Slovak football player. A member of the Czechoslovakia team at the 1962 World Cup, he played in the final against Brazil. The world-class defender was awarded the World Fair Play award in 1997 and elected as the best Slovak football player of the 20th century. Name suggested by S. Kürti.
