W. David Connell (b. 1954) is an avid supporter of dark skies in Northern Arizona. He is a long-time member of the Lowell Observatory Advisory Board. In 2014, he assisted in the creation of the Lowell Observatory Foundation and has served as chair of the Foundation board since its founding.
