Eileen Lynn Rice (b. 1942), cofounded New Mexico Skies Observatory near Cloudcroft with her husband Michael in 1998. Through her enthusiastic instruction and mentoring, hundreds of persons, especially young children and beginners, have been inspired to study the wonders of astronomy.
