Piero Ranfagni (1949– ) worked for many years as a technician at Arcetri Astrophysical Observatory. He is on the technical staff of the TIRGO Telescope and in the project office of LBT. He has also been very active in the history of astronomy and in popular astronomy. (M 40708) _ _.
