Malcolm Coe (b. 1949) is Professor of Astronomy at the University of Southampton in the U.K. For four decades his research has centered on Be X-ray binaries in the Milky Way and Magellanic Cloud galaxies, both in X-ray and optical/infrared wavelengths. But his true passion in life is Southampton Football Club.
