Mt. Toya, 668 m above sea level, is located at the boundary of the towns Minano-machi, Higashi-Chichibu-mura and Yorii-machi in western Saitama prefecture. On its hillside is the Noboriya Highland Ranch, which accommodates the Chichibu Hoshi-no-sato, home to more than ten amateur astronomical observatories.
