Kogo-no-Tsubone was the lover of emperor Takakura {see planet  (5578)}. She is the most well-known heroine in the story of Heike. She excelled at playing Koto, the Japanese lyre, but she was ostracized from the palace and went to live in seclusion. (M 36944) _ _.
