Named in honor of Katsunori Yoshikawa (1942– ), owner of the land on which the Nihondaira {see planet  (2880)} Observatory stands. He and his family appreciate the discoverer’s surveys for minor planets and protect the observatory, which is located in one of the green-tea producing areas in Japan. (M 21134)
