Opened in 1869, La Samaritaine, was a department store near the Pont Neuf, Paris. The store expanded from 1883 to 1933, incorporating surrounding buildings. Between 1903 and 1907 architect Frantz Jourdain applied Art Nouveau designs. The building is now classified as a historical monument.
