An ancient city in northern Ukraine, Iskorosten was the capital of the Drevlyany tribe in the times of Kiev Rus. Because the tribe murdered her husband, princess Olga of Kiev completely destroyed the settlement. The modern city of Korosten' is noted for its natural granite and unique porcelain.
