There are several meanings known in classical mythology. After Aeschylus, Sophocles and Euripides, Electra was the daughter of Agamemnon and Clytemnestra {see, respectively, planets (911) and (179)} and sister of Orestes, Iphigenia {see planet (112)}, and Chrysothemis
{see planet (637)}. Electra incited her brother Orestes to avenge their father’s murder by killing their mother and her lover Aegisthus. (Z 92)
