Kanetugu Naoe (1560–1619) was a military commander during the Japanese feudal period. He was on the side of the Toyotomis, and in the decisive battle of 1600 he fought against Yoshiaki Mogami {see planet  (10405)}, the lord of Yamagata (a part of present Yamagata Prefecture), who stood by the Tokugawas.
