Tokyo-born Shinken Wada (1912–1952) worked as a radio announcer for NHK from 1934 to 1945. He had a talent for newscasting and was also the compére for entertainment programs. He reported for the Helsinki Olympic Games in 1952 but died in Paris on the way home. (M 45232) _ _.
