Liese van Zee (b. 1970), on the faculty of Indiana University, has investigated the links between star formation, elemental enrichment and the gas distribution and kinematics in star-forming galaxies. Her work focuses on star-formation history and evolution of dwarf galaxies, including stellar-population models.
