Amanda R. Hendrix (b. 1968) has used UV spectroscopy to expand our knowledge of icy satellites, the Moon, asteroids, Mars and Io, by revealing surface compositions, weathering processes and radiation products. She was Cassini Deputy Project Scientist, worked on LRO LAMP, and assessed Europa missions.
