David Justin Ross (b. 1949) is co-developer of the Prime Rib curve, a graphical display of energy requirements for rendezvous trajectories. A leading developer of context-based optical character recognition, he co-founded three successful companies that apply his technology. The name was suggested by N. D. Hulkower.
