After dreaming of going into space for 30 years, Chris Pancratz (1950-2003) has as a member of the Board of Directors of the U.S. National Space Society since 1998 served as chair of the executive committee, acting executive director, NSS Activist of the Year, vice president of public affairs and editor of the chapter handbook.
