Akiyoshi Ishikawa (b. 1955), a Japanese amateur astronomer, is a key member of the group Ota Uchuno Kai. A devoted comet observer, he has had more than 1100 visual magnitude estimates published in the International Comet Quarterly since 1980. The name was suggested by A. Nakamura.
