James L. Green (b. 1951) is an American space physicist who has published widely on the Earth's and Jupiter's magnetospheres, as well as data systems and networks. As director of NASA's Planetary Science Division, he has overseen missions that explored Pluto, Mercury, Jupiter, Mars, the Moon and asteroids.
