The Meiers are a family of amateur astronomers living near Ottawa, Ontario. Linda (1950– ) is an active observer. Between 1978 and 1984, Rolf (1953– ) discovered four comets and has recently built an observatory. Son Matthew (1985– ) has joined the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada’s Ottawa Center.
