Olga P. Popova (b. 1963) is an expert in meteoroid strengths at the Institute for Dynamics of Geospheres of the Russian Academy of Sciences. She led a comprehensive study of the Chelyabinsk airburst that included the atmospheric trajectory, damage assessment and meteorite recovery.
