Austrian zoologist Karl Ritter von Frisch (1886–1982) did fundamental investigations on fish and honey-bees. He studied the orientation of bees following colors, shapes, odors, the sun and polarized light. He received the 1973 Nobel prize for medicine. (M 41033) _ _.
