Dutch poetess Petronella Johanna de Timmerman (1724-1786) was educated in astronomy and mathematics at the observatory of Jan de Munck in Middelburg. In 1769 she married the Utrecht astronomer Jan Frederik Hennert and assisted him in his work. The name was suggested by R. H. van Gent.
