Vilmos Csányi (1935) is a Hungarian biologist, biochemist, ethologist and a member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. His main field of research is human and animal behavior, and the questions of biological and cultural evolution. He is a very active science communicator, and the author of numerous literary novels.
