Iagiellonica is the Latin name of the Jagiellonian University, which was founded in 1364 by Casimir III the Great. The university is one of the leading research institutions in Poland. One of its most famous alumni was Nicolaus Copernicus, whose de Revolutionibus is kept in the Jagiellonian Library.
