Named for the nine goddesses in Greek mythology presiding over song and poetry and the arts and sciences. The muses are daughters of Zeus by Mnemosyne {see planets  (5731) and  (57)}. They were Erato (amatory verses and hymnes), Euterpe (music), Kalliope (heroic verses), Klio (history), Melpomene (tragedy), Polyhymnia (solemn songs), Thalia (comedy), Terpsichore (dance), and Urania (astronomy). All muses are existent at the minor planet sky {see planets  (62),  (27),  (22),  (84),  (18),  (33),  (23),  (81), and  (30), respectively}. (H 63) _ _.
