Named in honor of Kentaro Ohta (1942– ), who was in charge of designing optical telescopes at the Gotoh Optical Laboratory for many years and who now leads the large-format film section. He has also written many articles in astronomical magazines for amateur astronomers. (M 29145) _ _.
