Named in memory of Kenneth Glyn Jones (1915–1995), a British historian of astronomy. Glyn Jones is the author of the Messier’s Nebulae and Star Clusters (1968). He was one of the founders of the Webb Society, a British-based deep-sky society formed in 1967, and served as its president until 1991. Membership of the Webb Society is now 440 in more than twenty countries worldwide. (M 25654) _ _.
