Charles Moss “Charlie” Duke, Jr. (b. 1935) is a retired American astronaut, test pilot and U.S. Air Force officer. In 1972 he became the 10th and youngest person to walk on the Moon, serving as lunar module pilot for the Apollo 16 mission.
