Alessandro Dimai (1962– ) is an amateur astronomer and friend of the discoverer. For over twenty years Dimai has been an active member of the team of the alpine Col Drusci Observatory at Cortina d’Ampezzo. With indefatigable enthusiasm he successfully devoted himself to the discovery of supernovae. (M 45341) _ _.
