Viktor Milentinovich Vnukov (b. 1950), a pilot and engineer, was born in the Crimea, where he still lives. He has been a constant supporter of the protection of the unique flora and fauna of the Crimean peninsula. He helped to set up contacts between the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory and Andrushivka.
