Jungli, located in the Taoyuan County, in the north-western part of Taiwan, is one of the most ethnically diverse cities on the island, with Hakka being the most populous. Jungli enjoys an academic atmosphere, hosting seven universities, including the National Central University, which operates Lulin Observatory.
