Shigeo Shimomoto (b. 1963) is a Japanese amateur astronomer and computer programmer. He is the administrator of Comet hunter Seki's webpage. He actively observes comets in Tosa, Kochi prefecture, and encourages the public to learn more about astronomy through his own website.
