Alessandro Bisentini and Francesco Villa met in Milan at the Center School of Theatre in 1995. In a short time they became a popular Italian comedian duo, and their success was consolidated by a book in 2001 and a movie in 2005. The name was suggested by the second discoverer, a long-time friend of both comedians.
