Named for Jacob Rosales (b. 1967) of Jalisco, Mexico, and his son, Jacob (Coby) Rosales Chase (b. 1996) by Daniel W. E. Green, a close family friend. Jacob senior is an expert musician and teacher, specializing in violin and other stringed instruments; Coby is a student at Case Western Reserve University.
