David Jona Jansen (b. 1968) is a Dutch astronomer in Leiden, who used Westerbork Synthesis Radio Telescope data and later reduction of sub-mm data for his thesis on dense interstellar medium which made him an expert in the data treatment systems at Leiden Observatory. His continued support there is essential.
