Jiachi Yang (1919– ), an expert in automatic control and space technology, devoted himself to the development of artificial earth satellites in China. He is a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and of the International Academy of Astronautics, and he received several highest scientific achievement prizes in China. (M 43191) _ _.
