[FULL MOON] The manifesting secret few people know about

Forgiveness is SO powerful it makes me want to swear.

Because all the sh*t which happens, happens so we learn a lesson.

As a result of the the sh*t which happens, we might learn about:
– how to behave better
– how to navigate the complexities of human relationships
– how to recognise people who are likely to hurt us
– how to value ourselves
– and thus, how to have a happier life

Forgiveness breaks karma …

One of the most powerful interpretations I have ever read about (here) is that forgiving someone breaks the karma between us.

Breaking the karma means that we no longer have to be associated with that person, or we can extricate ourselves from the lesson we needed to learn, or that we can learn the lesson and heal the relationship.

Moreover, when you forgive, you release the past and move into the present. And it’s in the present that we manifest our lives.

Put simply, you can’t manifest anything if you’re stuck in the past because you’re hanging on to unresolved upsets.

And that is the manifesting secret few people know about.

If you’re a regular reader, you know that my number one recommendation for forgiveness is to work with the Full Moon energies every month.

Ideas for how to forgive… as the Moon grows to fullness…

1. Feel ALL your feelings.

The Full Moon brings all our feelings to the surface which makes it even easier to feel all our feelings. It’s when we push our emotions down that we really turn them into toxic waste. So feel them. And then release them with forgiveness to yourself or whoever you need to forgive.

2. Cry, if you need to.

Crying releases. In fact, amazingly enough, tears of joy and tears of sadness look different under the microscope. What about if this is because they actually serve different purposes. What about is crying when you’re sad actually helps you to release your emotions out of your body. IKR?

3. Write down what happens (express it, get it?) and burn what you wrote.

Just like crying expresses our emotions, so too does writing things down. It literally takes it out of our mind and our body and puts it on paper. I always encourage people to write and write and write until they can’t write anymore. Ranting on paper like this actually also gives us perspective about our situation – hopefully to the point where we can start to see that our life isn’t actually as ruined by whatever we’re upset about. Of course this depends on what happened but in regular run of the mill upsets (such as a break up or a falling out between friends or not getting the job we sought) we start to realise that life really isn’t over. Make sure you then BURN the paper!

4. Accept

One of the best teachings I ever had early on in my spiritual journey was about acceptance. Once we accept what is, we can start to work with it. If you know how to tap (EFT) then this really aids and abets the process. Accept that whatever you’re dealing with happened as a step on your path towards enlightenment. Really. It’s not about what happens to us, it’s about how we respond.

5. Surrender

Surrendering is one step on from acceptance and reminds us that there is a power greater than us out in the Universe and that whatever we are going through is happening for our soul’s evolution and the evolution of the souls of all the people involved in the situation.

6. Ask the Universe to make it clear to you what you needed to learn

Ask and it is given. If you ask the Universe to show you want you’re meant to be learning, you will get the answer revealed to you. Sometimes it’s already obvious and sometimes it’s not. Asking what the lesson is a part of living consciously where you work with the £*$! that hits the fan and you know it’s all a part of the plan.

7. Love yourself

Whatever else you do, love yourself. The most powerful self-love practice I have ever heard of was from Louise Hay who recommended what she called Mirror Work. In a nutshell, it’s about looking in the mirror every single day and saying “I love you!” to yourself and meaning it. You know you are doing your best. So give yourself a break!

8. Work with essential oils

9. Work with your heart chakra

There are probably lots of ways you could work with your chakras over whatever you have been through. Maybe you communications could have been better in which case your throat chakra might have been out of whack. Or maybe you felt as though you were fighting for survival, in which case it may have been a base chakra issue. However the cure all when you’re working with the Full Moon and forgiveness is to work with the heart chakra. See it between your breasts. What colour is it? It needs to be a beautiful emerald green. Imagine it that colour. Pour colour on to it. Place your hands on your heart chakra and send love to yourself through your palms. Breathe. 10. Say Om Namo Narayani

This means “I surrender to the Divine Mother”. Think of the Divine Mother like a spiritual mother who only wants what is best for you. Sometimes that means going through !£$£”@ so that you can learn lessons and your soul can grow. Forgiving whatever has happened makes the process easier. Try it!
